 Candle Making Liquid Dye
Candle making liquid dyes (oil based) are more potent than other types of dye, and a little dye (a couple of drops) goes a long way. Liquid dyes work really well with gel candles, and you can make darker or richer colors by mixing in a little black dye. Liquid dyes also mix better in soy wax than other types of dyes.
This dye is made specifically for Candle Making and will not clog wicks when burning. 1 ounce of dye will color approximately 62 pounds of wax. Some darker colors color less than 62 pounds depending on your formula and scent.
Dyes are packaged by weight not volume, fill levels will vary. More colors coming soon!

Candle Coloring - These 1/2 oz. dye blocks are highly concentrated candle dyes. One dye block will color 15 to 20 of pounds of Paraffin, Gel or Soy wax. You should only use a small sliver at a time (potato peelers are great!) until the desired color is achieved as you can always add more dye - but you can't take it out!

Cream colored craft sand for gel candles, sand art, and anything else your imagine can create. This sand has the texture of sugar and is the same sand we use to make our gel candles and include in our gel candle kits.

CAUTION
Failure to follow instructions could result in fird hazard or injury. Keep wax free of matches, wick trimmings, or any flammable materials. Keep wick centered & trimmed to 1/8" to ensure even burning & prevent flame from becoming too large. Burn only on a stable heat resistant surface for not more than 4 h ours at a time. Keep out of drafts. Discontinue use when only 1/2" of wax remains in bottom. Do not move while burning or if wax is hot. Keep out of reach of children & pets.

 UV Inhibitor
UV Inhibitor - Tinuvin should be used at .02%. This translates to .32 oz per 100 pounds of wax. A handy measure for .32 oz is 1 teaspoon. A tablespoon is one ounce and there are 3 teaspoons per tablespoon.

Stearic Acid - Triple Pressed Vegetable Stearic Flashpoint - 374 °F INCI Stearic Acid SAP Value: .148 / .208
Used in paraffin and vegetable wax candles for hardness and opacity. Commonly used in pillar/molded candles at approx. 3 tbs per pound. Stearic acid can also be used in soaps for hardness, and in lotions as an emollient and thickener. Usage rates are around 1-3%.
